try to go in a terminal...

running in terminal doesnt matter that is done so i can see my logs, but in gnome-ppp you dont need to run in terminal you can just hit gnome-ppp and if you click connection log it lists the same as...

hey after you finish all that you MUST run gnome-ppp through terminal for wvdial to configure root and you should have a terminal with this command:

$ sudo gnome-ppp

sudo: unable to resolve...

running on ubuntu gnome 8.04 from a verizon wireless usb 720 card :D use gnome ppp all u need

id have to say the no reboot needed to finish instalations just ctrl alt backspace and ur in login screen :D no other OS can do that yet i dont belive
